One person died when a tank collided with a civilian vehicle on a country road during a large-scale NATO drill in Norway.

No NATO military personnel were injured or killed in the incident, which is now being investigated, Lt. Col. Aleksander Jankov of the Norwegian Armed Forces told AP.

The crash happened on Monday in the country’s Nord Troendelag County, one of the venues for the ‘Cold Response’ exercise.

According to Jankov, the NATO tank that collided with the car was a Norwegian “armored recovery vehicle.”

The war games, involving 15,000 troops from 14 nations, kicked off on March 2 and will continue until Wednesday.

Despite Norway recently listing Russia as a top security threat, NATO officials say the exercise “isn’t a part of any response” to Moscow’s actions.

Last January, 11 people died and two dozen were injured after a Greek F-16 crashed shortly after takeoff during a NATO drill in Albacete, Spain.
