Few things are more heartbreaking than a parent mourning the death of a child, so when footage of a white balloon mysteriously floating from a young man’s casket towards his mother was posted online, it struck a universal chord around the world.
Joy Ganda Vibar-Alamares was grieving for her son Trebby in the Philippines. After the balloon floats in a straight line to her, it changes direction and goes around her back.
The video was taken by Kaypee Alamares, the mother’s sister-in-law.
A second video shows a balloon floating to one of Trebby’s siblings.
Nearly four million views of the Facebook video have led to speculation that her son’s spirit guided the helium-filled message 'from beyond'.
