Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka has joined a select and very elite group of people who have taken a selfie during a spacewalk. The 57-year-old took the snap to celebrate his 10th excursion out of the International Space Station.

Padalka has already set numerous space records, such as spending 859 days above the Earth’s atmosphere, as of August 18, 2015. However, he did not set a new first by taking a selfie in open space.

That honor went to Buzz Aldrin during the Gemini 12 mission way back in 1966.

Meanwhile, Padalka’s countryman Anton Shkaplerov also got in on the act in February, as he was part of Expedition 42 aboard the International Space Station, as he took this snap.
