Moscow police stations are reportedly set to get special rooms, where officers can relax after a hard day’s work, with ‘mind exercise machines’ and massage helmets. The budget for these unusual police helmets is said to be around $30,000.

Massage helmets are aimed at reducing stress, alleviating head aches and, surprisingly, baldness prevention, according to the local Moskva-24 TV channel.

“The helmet is to treat headaches and dizziness, migraines, sleepiness, eye tiredness and puffiness, high or low arterial pressure, hair loss,” the manual states, as quoted by the channel.

In southwestern Moscow division, the helmets are also set to be equipped with MP3 players.

Also, the policemen will get so-called ‘mind machines’: light-and-sound exercise equipment for the brain. The equipment draws dynamic colorful geometric shapes in front of the user, also helping to reduce stress.

The budget to assure that policemen can remain relaxed and healthy – after what can be up to 60 hours a week of work - is about $32,000.
