UES targets $6.7 billion from generating IPOs

Power utility Unified Energy Systems (UES) plans to raise between $4 billion and $6.7 billion offering shares in five generating companies.

Chief executive Anatoly Chubais said most of the Initial Public Offerings would take place on Russian stock exchanges, giving impetus to domestic financial markets.
