Titanium sale seals Russian-French aerospace deal

Russian titanium producer V.S.M.P.O. Avisma has signed a US$ 300 million long-term deal to supply titanium to French aircraft engine maker Snecma and other members of the Safran aerospace group.

The agreement came into life on January 1 this year, after months of negotiations. V.S.M.P.O. Avisma is the world's biggest producer of titanium products.
