Sweden will raise new objections to Russia's accession to the World Trade Organisation. A Swedish government official says his country will send a letter to the European Commission on Monday with complaints about Russia's export duties on timber and pulp

Sweden says Russia broke its promise to exclude birch from raising export duties. Russia has been increasing its duty on raw materials to protect local wood processing. Finnish and Swedish pulp producers are among the firms, affected by the hike. Russia has around a fifth of the world's forests and holds timber reserves of more than 82 BLN cubic meters.
