The amount of money invested overseas by Russians has soared by 56 per cent in the past 12 months. It now stands at more than $US 54 billion.
The Federal State Statistics Service says cumulative investment abroad stood at $US 28 billion at the end of September. The top destination for investment by Russian firms was the United States, followed by Cyprus and Austria.
