Russian manufacturing growth slows

According to the VTB Bank Europe purchasing managers' index, Russian manufacturing growth slowed in February. Analysts say the decline is due to slower growth in output and new orders.

The index fell to 52 points from 52.3 in the previous month.On the positive side, the employment index showed relatively strong gains, suggesting that respondents remain positive about their future output plans.
