Russian airlines alliance aims at Hungarian operator Malev

Hungary has announced two out of the four contenders for purchasing Malev airlines. They are Lithuania's L.A.L. and Russia's Air-Union – an alliance of airlines led by KrasAir.

Media reports suggest the Russian company has made the best offer for Malev – almost $US 200 MLN.Malev, which has a fleet of 26 aircrafts, is to be privatised by January 25th.
