The operator already has a rail connection to the airport from Moscow’s Paveletskaya station, run by the Aeroexpress company. This is reckoned unlikely to handle estimated passenger numbers in the next 10 to 15 years.  Aeroexpress believes that to recoup expenses over a decade, the concessionaire must set high ticket prices. Improving the existing line by purchasing faster trains might be a better option.
