A spokesman for Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has denied reports that he's the buyer of an Airbus A380 that was sold privately at this summer's Le Bourget Airshow.

French newspaper Le Figaro reported the billionaire would be the first private client for the Airbus jet. According to the paper, the owner of Chelsea football club plans to use the world's largest airliner as his private carrier, to replace his Boeing 767. The A380 carries more than 800 passengers and is slated for first delivery to Singapore Airlines next month.
