Games of the Future make the world a little better – Olympic champion Nemov

Four-time Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics Alexey Nemov  spoke about Games of the Future in Kazan.

“We have just arrived and could not attend many competitions. However, I believe that bringing people together is very important, especially in today’s world. We are organising Games of the Future with expertise. Not only young people but also adults are engaging in the presented formats. This initiative makes the world slightly better and kinder. We are all participants in a great cause, which leads to an uplift in spirits. People in Kazan have caught a certain wave.

Comparison with the Olympics? It is too early to talk about that; the formats of competitions are very different. In regular sport, there is more physical and psychological strain. In phygital, everything is different. Nevertheless, the competitions there are intense. And that is very important. Everyone cheers and wants to win. When the competitions end, we will understand their strengths and weaknesses. But the positives, of course, outweigh the negatives,” said Nemov.
