Games of the Future gave an incredible boost to the popularization of phygital sport – Nagorny

President of the All-Russian Federation of Phygital Sports and Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics Nikita Nagorny spoke on about Games of the Future in Kazan.

“The Games of the Future provided an incredible boost for the popularisation of phygital sport and its accessibility. Now I would like to thank all the federations that come with their initiatives and say that they are ready to move towards phygitalisation. The Ministry of Sports is doing a great job to develop the sport that will provide opportunities,” said Nagorny at the World Youth Festival.

Games of the Future is an innovative international tournament consisting of 21 disciplines, taking place in Kazan from February 21 to March 3, 2024. Over 2,000 athletes from different countries worldwide are taking part in the competitions.

Games of the Future combine competitions in the physical and digital domains, ‘phygital’ (physical + digital), testing athletes’ skills in the real and virtual worlds.
