Chernyshenko: Broadcasters are lining up to cover the Games of the Future globally
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said that the Games of the Future tournament has found support in many countries.
“The tournament unites the digital world and the world of real sports; it has found support in many countries across the world. Just under a third of all nations became members of the phygital movement, and in Russia, phygital sports federations have been established in almost all provinces.
TV companies, streamers and bloggers are lining up to cover the Games’ sports program, which proves that our president’s idea is endorsed in the world and that we guessed right with this unique format. We are happy to give it to the world for free,” Big Sport quoted Chernyshenko as saying.
The Games of the Future is an innovative international tournament of 21 disciplines held in Kazan from February 21 to March 3, 2024. More than 2,000 athletes from around the world are taking part in the competition.
