Notes from Liberia

Notes from Liberia traces the journey of the late Japanese cinematographer Ryo Murakami on the Firestone Rubber Plantation in Liberia. Under cover of night, Ryo trespasses on the plantation and enters a world where coercive living conditions and labor practices have scarcely changed since the plantation opened in 1926.
