Legendary US saxophonist and multiple Grammy winner David Sanborn, who is to play a gig in Moscow, shared with RT his impressions from Moscow and his experience of working with great jazz stars.

Sanborn, who has been playing music since high school, is known all over the world for his trademark mixture of jazz, instrumental pop and R&B.

A highly regarded session player since the late 1960s, Sanborn has paired up with the likes of Miles Davies, Paul Simon, David Bowie, Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder.

In Moscow, he will team up with popular Russian jazz band “Transatlantic.” Together they are going to play highlights from Sanborn’s 35-year and 25-album long career.
