Aikido experts offer master-class to Moscow public

Aikido is considered to be one of the most complicated martial arts. Leading Russian instructors gave TV reporters a unique opportunity to find out what it is all about first hand.

The Japanese martial art of aikido can be paraphrased as "the way of harmonious spirit" in English and does not involve any offensive moves at all. It teaches to use your opponent's aggression and power against him without causing injuries, leaving many doubting if it can be really effective.

It might be probably one of the reasons why Russian leading aikido instructors held a master-class for TV correspondents in Moscow and promptly showed some specific aikido applications.
