Goals from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli have progressed England to the final four of a World Cup for the first time since 1990 and their supporters are finally beginning to believe that football might indeed be ‘coming home’.
The 2-0 win in the Samara Arena was achieved without Gareth Southgate’s side every really looking in danger, with the challenge of England being a bridge too far for Janne Anderson’s men, a team which can be proud of their impact at Russia 2018.

Don't want to go on about it, but the difference in quality from last night to this is shocking. Fair play to England. Making a semis is fantastic no matter who you play. But I've no idea if they can step up to level of Belgium/France
