Few have been mistreated by life more than children in need of adoption. But following a string of recent deaths and abuse cases, many countries have moved to restrict or ban the adoption of children into the US. Is it possible to fix a broken system without politicizing the problem? How do we ensure that our desire to help doesn't throw the children from the pan into the fire, from home to re-homing?
