Western Europe has long been the birthplace of both the most dangerous and the most enlightened ideas. It almost burned the planet alive with the two world wars and came up with the European Union as a prevention strategy against a third. Is the Eurocentric way the only strategy of saving the world from a new disaster, or is it perhaps the surest means of bringing it about? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Kalypso Nicolaidis, director of the Centre for International Studies at Oxford University.
