Ottomania? Ft. Norman Stone, professor at the Intl Relations Department, Bilkent University

From its clampdown on democracy to the downing of Russia's warplane, Turkey has made a departure from its traditionally stable policies in recent years. And despite international pressure on issues such as its connections to ISIS and handling of Kurdish separatism, it seems unwilling to change course. What's driving Ankara's increasingly aggressive politics and what are the implications for its domestic and regional stability? Oksana is joined by Norman Stone, professor at the Department of International Relations at Bilkent University in Ankara, to examine these issues.
