Destination: Irkutsk

In the next series Mark Ames visits Irkutsk, one of the largest cities in Siberia. He also travels to Lake Baikal, which contains over 20% of the world's fresh water and more than 90% of Russia's fresh water. Its age is estimated at 25-30 million years, making it one of the world’s most ancient lakes. At the end of the journey, Mark learns how to cook smoked fish and tries a Russian banya.
