Episode 132 Chilcot special

The Chilcot jury has returned a guilty verdict. So when does the punishment begin? And, if there is no punishment, what prevents our rulers from doing the same things all over again. We discuss this question with Dr Kamil Mahdi, an Iraqi dissident in exile. He was in danger from the Iraqi regime before the Bush and Blair war, but as US and British forces began to threaten his homeland, he opposed the war with at least as much passion as the millions who demonstrated against it.

And the Stop The War Coalition had support from many leading figures, including both Tony Benn and Jeremy Corbyn, but there has been one constant from its inception until now. She’s a human dynamo, convenor and leader of the anti war movement - Lindsey German, who came into the Sputnik Studio for a very special Chilcot show.
