Will the Iraq war bankrupt the U.S.?

Middle East expert Vyacheslav Matuzov and military analyst Pavel Felgengauer

It’s already become  commonplace to compare the war the U.S is waging in Iraq with the U.S. war in Vietnam. But, looking from Moscow, it seems that a more accurate comparison is the Soviet war in Afghanistan in  the 1980s - the war precipitated the collapse of the Soviet Union. Can the Iraq war become similarly fateful for the U.S. - the last remaining superpower? To answer this question, our guests in the studio  are Middle East expert Vyacheslav Matuzov and military analyst Pavel Felgengauer.
