Water: every drop counts

Director of Israel’s National Water Technology Program, Mr. Oded Distel

The United Nations climate change conference is under way in the Danish capital Copenhagen. Delegates from 192 countries have agreed that climate change is doing damage to humanity. The negative effects of climate change include a decrease in the availability of drinking water. In some areas, potable water has already become scarce to non-existent. This shortage cannot be resolved without brand new technology for water conservation and purification. Israel was recently named “the Silicon Valley of water technology” and “cleantech incubator to the world”. Today the Director of Israel’s National Water Technology Program, Mr. Oded Distel, is the guest in our studio.
