­Four months of protests in Syria have left over 1,000 people dead. The riots are the biggest challenge to the Assad family which has been ruling the country for 40 years. Inspired by the revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt, Syrians want to oust President Bashar Assad. But authoritative Syrian dissidents call for the peaceful transition of power, trying to avoid any further bloodshed. So what’s the most probable scenario for the Syrian crisis?
