Irina Antonova, Director of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts
She has dedicated her whole life to the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. Irina Antonova was made head of the museum in 1961, now making her the oldest director of a major art museum in the world. During her career Irina Antonova witnessed the entire collection of the Dresden Gallery when it arrived at the museum from Germany in 1945 and was then removed ten years later.
