The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, is not the best friend of western democracies and he is well aware that he is often labelled as the last dictator in Europe. Meanwhile, Belarus is one of the most economically successful countries in the post-Soviet space and President Lukashenko says that he won’t be surprised if ten years from now he's still the President of Belarus if his health and people’s support don’t fail him.
