Russia-Poland: Remembering victims of totalitarian past

Krzysztof Zanussi belongs to the greatest generation of European film directors who made their names by creating masterpieces of the 20th century.

On April 7, Russia and Poland will commemorate the Katyn massacre – the 1940 mass murder of thousands of Polish prisoners of war by the Stalinist regime.

On the eve of this mournful event, we are going to talk to Mr. Zanussi about cinema and about the relationship between Russia and our guest’s homeland, Poland.
