The Global Positioning System developed by the US has long been the only functioning worldwide navigation system. But recently Russia introduced its own system called GLONASS. Its satellites are meant to go where GPS doesn’t go. Together, they could guide us from space over every inch of terrain. What’s happening with GLONASS now?
