Today we talk about efforts to settle the crisis in the Caucasus. French President Nicolas Sarkozy, along with top European diplomats Jose Manuel Barroso and Javier Solana, met President Medvedev on Monday to discuss the terms of a deal to end the Russian-Georgian dispute. Mr. Sarkozy’s next meeting is in Tbilisi. What is the role of the EU mediators? And what can we expect from this diplomatic mission?
