Reuters: Medvedev talks

Editor-in-Chief of Reuters, David Schlesinger

This week Dmitry Medvedev is making his debut appearance at the G8 Summit in Yokohama, Japan. Many wonder how different is President Medvedev from his predecessor, Vladimir Putin. Will his foreign politics be different or even more pragmatic? What makes him so sure that he will root out corruption? One of the world leaders who expressed hope that Medvedev will help him remove some stumbling blocks in bi-lateral relations was Gordon Brown, speaking to the press before going to the summit. And while Gordon Brown is negotiating with President Medvedev in Japan, we talk in our studio to the Editor-in-Chief of Reuters, a man who has personally met both leaders lately. Please welcome - Mr. David Schlesinger.
