The International Committee of the Red Cross says it’s not leaving Libya. Colonel Gaddafi is dead, NATO’s gone, but the conflict isn’t settled yet, as people keep fighting and many cities are virtually destroyed. Rebuilding the country may take years, making Libya another long-lasting Red Cross’s mission. How does the Red Cross manage to conduct so many humanitarian operations all around the globe? And – what are the primary issues the organization has to face? We’re asking the Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross – Yves Daccord.
