Dr. Zlobin is a leading expert on international security, terrorism and Russia-U.S. relations. He also specialises in politics and the history of Russia, Asia and Eurasia. During his prolific career, he was a professor at Moscow State University and the president of Washington ProFile, an international news and analysis agency, which he founded in 2001. He is also a former political advisor to the Kremlin. He's even hosted his own television talk show. Dr. Zlobin joined the Centre for Defence Information in Washington D.C. in 2001, as a Senior Fellow and Director of Russian and Asian Programmes. He currently sits on the editorial boards of several academic periodicals and is the executive editor of the Post-Soviet Democratisation Journal. He is the author of 11 books and more than 200 academic papers, which have been published in at least 15 different languages.
