Today my guest is James Appathurai.  Washington has published its new National Intelligence Estimate. The document shifts the geopolitical interests of the US to former Soviet countries in Asia and the Caucasus. Central Asia is a valuable supply hub for NATO forces in Afghanistan, and Georgia could be used to host part of the American anti-missile shield. But how does Russia’s position on this weigh in as far as Washington and Brussels are concerned?
