Russian migration policy

The influx of economic migrants to Europe has arguably changed the demographics of the Old World completely. Ethnic and cultural conflicts have made some officials suggest the policy of a multi-cultural Europe has failed. The problem is pretty similar in Russia, as a growing number of migrants from the former Soviet area come here to work. Are we learning from the European experience or are we heading our own way?
