A historic worldwide summit on climate change has recently ended in Doha, Qatar. Seeking to control global warming, nearly 200 countries agreed to extend the Kyoto Protocol, aimed to control greenhouse gas output.  Although it was the Middle East where the event took place, the region is not really much talked about when it comes to environmental protection. But isn’t it unfair to ignore the world’s biggest oilfield? What are the region’s problems and impact on our planet? We’ll discuss with a senior official of one of the biggest Middle Eastern countries – vice-president and head of Environmental Protection Organization of Iran, Mohammad Javad Mohammadi Zadeh.
