Jacques Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee, has recently confirmed that there is a plan to hold Youth Olympics in 2010, to be followed in 2012 by Winter Youth Olympics. Like the adult Olympics and Paralympics, the Youth Olympics would then take place every four years. This issue is currently being discussed in Guatemala, and the world is waiting for a final decision from the International Olympic Committee. We will be discussing the issue with one of the best athletes in Olympic history, the legendary figure-skating champion - Irina Rodnina.
