Today we are talking about the Russia-EU relations. A Russia-EU summit, the last under Putin’s presidency, was held in Portugal last week. The talks brought no major breakthrough on a number of issues which divide Russia and the European Union - from energy policy to the problem of Kosovo. Ahead of the summit a group of European parliament proposed a resolution, containing harsh criticism toward Russia. Though the draft resolution was rejected by the majority of the European parliament, on of its authors, Mr. Daniel Cohn-Bendit and Mr. Leonid Polyakov are the guests in our studio.
