Aleksandr Ageev is a futurologist, professor and academician at the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. After graduating from Moscow State University with honours, he went on to receive a PhD from the World Economy and International Relations Institute. Later, he held different positions at the USSR Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Foreign Economic Affairs and in the aerospace and atomic industries. Today he is the President of the International Academy of Future Research and the General Director of the Institute of Economic Strategies. He is also the author of more than 200 research papers.
