Cirque du Soleil: Doing circus in Russia

The Cirque du Soleil is back in Russia with its brand new show Zarkana. The extravaganza is running in one of Moscow’s largest venues, the Grand Kremlin Palace, which has been given a serious makeover. Last summer, Zarkana premiered in New York’s Radio City Hall, and was welcomed with enthusiasm. Some even called it the best Cirque du Soleil show ever.
Is it really the best? Or the most challenging, at least? What makes Zarkana unique?
