China: towards a clean energy future

Today my guest is Xu Qinhua. In just three decades, China’s economy has become one of the largest and most dynamic in the world. The country seems to be producing virtually everything, from socks to spacecraft, and its handled the world economic crisis better than any other economy. But today, Beijing is starving for energy, and it’s turning to its neighbours, particularly Russia, for cheap and efficient sources of energy.
