In Syria where tensions continue to increase in the province of Idlib. There are growing reports of protests as multiple factions prepare to fight for control of Syria’s north-western region. RT America’s Rachel Blevins has the latest.

Dallas Police Now Smearing Reputation of Shooting Victim?

A white Dallas police officer, Amber Guyger, shot and killed her black neighbor, Botham Jean, after entering his apartment and was charged with manslaughter. The officer had just returned from working a shift and says she was in the wrong apartment. Now, the police department has released to the media accusation he had marijuana in his apartment. The victim’s family is calling this a smear campaign. RT America’s Ashlee Banks analyzes the latest with retired Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Matthew Fogg.

Massive Ocean Cleanup Project Launched

A massive floating device has been deployed in the Pacific ocean to start removing trillions of pieces of plastic and garbage. The Ocean Cleanup, a nonprofit founded by Boyan Slate hopes to take on the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a mass of floating plastic and trash twice the size of Texas. The device will trap the garbage for removal but still allow for sea life to safely navigate under it. Watching The Hawks Tabatha Wallace reports.
