Saudi Arabia Feud With Canada Explained
What started as a war of words on social media has turned into a full on diplomatic feud between The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia and Canada. In response to a tweet from Canadian foreign minister, Chrystia Freeland regarding the arrest of human rights activist Samar Badawi in the Kingdom. The Saudi government has said Canada’s position is “an overt and blatant interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” Saudi Arabia has gone on to expel the Canadian ambassador and recalled their own ambassador from Canada. The Saudi state airline has also canceled all direct flights from the kingdom to Toronto. RT’s Alex Mihailovich reports.
Six Arrested After Maduro Assassination Attempt on President Maduro
Venezuela’s Interior Minister announced his country has made six arrests in connection with the recent assassination attempt on President Nicolas Maduro. Saturday, attackers flew two drones armed with explosives over a military parade with the aim of detonating them as Maduro delivered a speech. One drone malfunctioned, falling into a nearby apartment building, while the second was thrown off course and detonated by authorities. RT America’s Anya Parampil reports.

Alexander Zverev defended his Citi Open title against Alex De Minaur winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-4. On the women’s side Svetlana Kuznetsova defeated Donna Vekic in a three set thriller.
