US Advises Syrian Rebels Not to Expect Military Help
President Trump met with Jordanian King Abdullah in Washington. Trump praised King Abdullah's efforts to take and shelter Syrian refugees. Meanwhile the Syrian military is preparing to take back territory in the southwestern part of the country currently controlled by the us-backed free Syrian army. The FSA is now learning it may have to head into battle without major backing from American troops. RT America’s Anya Parampil reports.

World Cup: Russia Loses, Spain and Portugal Squeak By
Russia suffered a major loss to Uruguay in Group A. The Russian national team was down a player due to a red card, leaving them with only 10 players on the field. Iran and Morocco gave Spain and Portugal a run for their money but were ultimately eliminated. In Tennis, Roger Federer lost his world number one ranking, after being defeated in the Gerry Weber Open final by 21 year-old Borna Ćorić. RT America’s Steve Christakos reports.
