Trump Admin Has ‘Contempt’ for UN - activist
Washington's withdrawal from the UN Human Rights Council has been roundly condemned by the international community, even close NATO allies from Europe describing the decision as regrettable. US envoy to the UN Nikki Haley made the announcement on Tuesday, arguing that the Human Rights Council possessed a “chronic bias” against Israel. World Cup: Russia and Uruguay Advance
Both Russia and Uruguay have advanced to the knockout stage of the World Cup after eliminating Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Former FIFA President Sepp Blatter makes a rare public appearance attending the World the Cup match at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. In tennis, Karen Khachanov defeated Kei Nishikori to advance to the quarter finals of the Gerry Webber Open. RT America’s Steve Christakos reports.
