Former CIA Agent: Gina Haspel Should Not Head CIA
President Donald Trump’s nominee for CIA director Gina Haspel spoke before the Senate Intelligence Committee Wednesday. Among those cleared from the room prior to the hearing were CODEPINK founder Medea Benjamin and former CIA analyst turned antiwar activist Ray McGovern. Haspel oversaw torture programs and operation of a “black site” operation in Thailand where detainees were subjected to waterboarding. RT America’s Dan Cohen has more.
