Former Brazilian president ordered to report to prison

The former Brazilian President Luiz da Silva (commonly known as Lula) is facing a 12-year prison term for charges of corruption. Brazil's Supreme Court rejected his request to remain free while appealing the sentence. Lula left office in 2010 with an 80 percent approval rating and, until the ruling, was favored to win this year's election. RT’s Nicholas O'Donovan has the story.
