Tensions flare Israeli F-16 fighter jet downed by Syria
Over the weekend, the Syrian military shot down an Israeli F-16 fighter jet. It had just finished a bombing mission in Syria, one of thousands conducted by the Israeli military over the last year alone. The pilot was able to land in Israeli territory and survived. Astronomers discover scores of exoplanets outside Milky Way
Using data from NASA’s Chandra X-Ray Observatory space telescope and with the help of gravitational microlensing, astrophysicists at the University of Oklahoma say they found the first evidence that more than a trillion exoplanets could exist beyond our Milky Way.
