Tensions flare Israeli F-16 fighter jet downed by Syria
Over the weekend, the Syrian military shot down an Israeli F-16 fighter jet. It had just finished a bombing mission in Syria, one of thousands conducted by the Israeli military over the last year alone. The pilot was able to land in Israeli territory and survived.
